Following up on the 22 May meeting between Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Parliament’s political leadership, MEPs will hold a second public hearing on Facebook, this Monday, 25th June (the first was on 4 June), to look into ensuring data protection and preventing illegal use of data. MEPs from LIBE, AFCO, ITRE and JURI committees will participate in this hearing on the use of Facebook users’ data by Cambridge Analytica and its impact on data protection and consequences.
